C Meyer made a motion seconded by D DeVore to accept a contract for the City; Scott Slawson and Mark Christianson for one year, with a 30day in advance cancelation, for $200 in water and $200 for wastewater affidavit operator coverage per month. Roll call: Ayes: R Bachman, C Meyer and D DeVore Nays: None. Motion Carried. Dennis Howery informed the Council that they could save money by purchasing a used vehicle instead of a new one. The Council agreed that they would be interested in a used vehicle for the small plow, but that the old cop car has done very well for the City so they were going to continue to purchase a new vehicle. C Meyer made a motion seconded by D DeVore to purchase a 2010 Dodge Dakota from Champion Auto in Rockwell City for $26,588.00 with the stipulation that they install a spray-in bed liner.
