Motion was made to approve the Auditor of the State of Iowa bill for
$16,403.76 for the 2007 and 2008 fiscal year audit. Roll call: Ayes:
Bachman, Meyer and DeVore. Nays: None. Motion Carried.

Department |
Motion
was made by Bachman, seconded by DeVore, |
to advertise for the part-time maintenance position in the Record
Democrat, Cal Co. Journal Herald, Cal Co. Remainder and the Iowa Workforce
Development. The ad is to state 20 to 36 hours as needed and the person
will perform a variety of street and city property maintenance and
duties within the water and wastewater departments. Roll call: Ayes:
Bachman, DeVore, Loots and Meyer. Nays: None. Motion Carried. The
dead line for applications is July 17, 2009.
